It’s birthday fever in our home this week as we celebrate Miss Hannah turning 7 and Mr Flutter turning one year closer to 40.
We celebrated the first party, this weekend gone, with a fancy dress party fit for a fire princess…

Hannah wears an outfit of her own creation, made at last years school wearable art show. The train is really quite impressive. Unfortunately I neglected to get a full length photo of it, so you will have to use your vivid imaginations.

The party consisted of a light afternoon tea, and a craft session where the guests all had the opportunity to personalise a bag…

It seemed to be a hit with all involved. Definitely a good way to keep 10 kids relatively quiet for half an hour.

After some creative time we ran some games, and when those ideas were exhausted the children all threw themselves into doing some “Just Dance” from YouTube.

I have to say that just dance is the.best.invention.ever!
Watching the kids all throw themselves into it is super duper cute!
