In other words it’s not just you!
It’s definitely time for me to “mark all as read” and clean out my subscribe list so that it is manageable for me.
Instead of blog reading I’ve been doing a bit of:
Holidaying
Spending time with Neil before he flies away again on Monday
Researching the job market
Looking at study options
Looking at housing options
Reading novels
Developing an X factor obsession
My brain is Full to the brim of different options and I feel like we’re at a fork in the road but that there’s about 6 different paths to choose from instead of 2.
It’s overwhelming at times.
And that’s what’s going on here
Decisions decisions and more decisions
And little to no blog reading

It is quite freeing when you hit that mark as read button from time to time. x
I would have hit the button ages ago. I hit the button here after just missing five days of blog reading. I used to feel guilty about doing it – now I just know life is more important and that is the way it is supposed to be.
I had a clear out of my google reader list last week. It’s quite liberating! You’ll notice you’re still on my list – can’t get rid of me that easily! :oD
Sounds like exciting times are in your future. This is the main reason I have not started a blog, I love reading and getting inspiration from my blog list and I have to have my daily fix of sewing. I work and run a house. There is not much time left to commit to a blog. When I retire next year it may happen, or I may spend more time sewing. You can only do what you can do, just enjoy that and let the “guilty feelings” flow straight past you. Pam

Heh, I don’t use goole reader, I just use my dashboard, then I’m in blissful ignorance if I’ve not scrolled down just how much I’ve msised ;o)

WOW I hit it after 2 days… seeing that number creep up freaks me out!! I’ve not been reading much either. Happily doing life stuff

I try to read every night, part if the winding down process.
Hope the decisions you have to make go well, they may be hard but worth it in the long run =D
Totally understand how overwhelming choices can be. I feel as if my head is about to explode and my choices are far more limited than yours at the moment. Stick in there, it’ll all turn out in the end and just when you’re not expecting it the perfect opportunity will come along.
As for “mark as read” hit it and enjoy the (temporary) feeling of freedom
Yes, just move on, no one minds at all. I have to do the same thing this weekend, I will never catch up.
