Today is Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day…

Yay! Gotta love a linky party of giveaways!
So you’ll be wanting to know what my offering is I suppose πŸ˜‰
Well, it’s no secret if you visit my blog as a regular that I LOVE playing with scraps!Β
I love the fact that I can make some darn cool things out of what is essentially “scrap” from my scrap bin
    – Not only is it eco & budget friendly using scraps, butΒ I also LOVE the fact that I can enjoy adding little bits of my favourite fabrics in projects over & over & over & over…
It’s like the fabric that went on & on!
Especially cool if it’s a fabric that has sentiment to me or a scrap gifted by a friend!
So today I have put together an ultimate designer scrap pack for you:
If you love designer fabric then you will no doubt know some if not all of the fabrics included in this packΒ
    – There is some:
    ** Β Heather Ross
** Β Flea Market Fancy & other DS fabrics
    ** Β Joel Dewberry
    ** Β Michael Miller
** Β Timeless Treasure newpaper prints
    And more!
(If you don’t know these fabrics then don’t worry – all you need to know is that they are super cute πŸ™‚ )
All scraps are at least 3 inches square upwards, with some larger scraps included too. So definitely very usable patchwork sizes!
Perfect for making one of my scrappy QAYG pouches or patchwork zipper pouch tutorials!
And just in case you want to make one of my tutes, you will also find all the hardware you will need, plus some extra hardware, inside a handmade-by-me Scrappy Pouch:
    There is:
    ** Β A zipper
    ** Β A magnetic clasp
    ** Β A couple of brooch clips
    ** Β A spring hook
So lets recap on what you win shall we – just so we’re clear πŸ™‚
You get a gorgeous designer scrap pack, a handmade scrappy pouch, & a bunch of notions suitable to make one of my easy peasy tutes if you should so desire.
And I will ship Internationally πŸ™‚
    Entry is simple:Β

    First entry:Β simply leave a comment.Β

ButΒ this timeΒ there are also someΒ bonus entriesΒ up for grabs:

Second entry:Β my “Support Crew” can all have a second entry, just cause I heart you so much.
(I’m really sorry but youΒ mustΒ follow me through Google friend connect to qualify for this second entry, not just subscribe through a reader, otherwise how will I tell you are a regular reader?)

Third Entry:Β if you have previously left me a comment on ANY post that I’ve written since the 1st December then you can have another bonus entry. Because that means that I love youΒ superΒ heaps πŸ˜‰

I guess that means all the people who entered my other giveaway already too πŸ™‚

Fourth Entry:Β Blog about this giveaway and you can have a fourth bonus entry.

I will draw this along with my other giveaway in the morning on my 17th December (which will be the 16th Dec Sew Mama Sew cut off) and announce both winner in a post on Saturday.

    Best of luck!

    1. Oooh, I would have signed up for those goldfish alone Kat! Thanks for the very small outside chance of winning them (as you’ll shortly be inundated with comments ;o) )

    2. What a wonderful giveaway, Kat!! You are so generous and thoughtful!! I would love some of your scraps, and have never yet attempted a zipper, but your patchwork zipper case is at the top of my list (after i complete my obligatory holiday gifts). Thanks for this opportunity!

    3. Lovely scraps! If I win, I see a “cheeky quilt” in my future. I just joined a bee, and I think I will try to make a log cabin like yours. Not the most difficult block, but one I really admire.

    4. Hi Kat! What a wonderful giveaway! I would love to get some new scraps – I have worked so much with my old and always the same scraps! Beautiful pouch too!

    5. How cool! That’s an exciting giveaway – I love playing with scraps, and I’ve been wanting a pouch but haven’t gotten around to making one yet, so I hope I get lucky!

    6. I wonder why it is, that other people’s scraps are always prettier and more exciting than our own? I have a friend that comes by to see me and when she does, she DIVES into my scrap box to see what she can find, lol. Thank you for a lovely giveaway – I have one of your QAYG pouches started but I had to put it aside to get Christmas things finished!

    7. Wow, what a lovely giveaway! Your aesthetic is right up my alley. Oh, and I’m totally on board with your statement of faith, too. Good for you for including that. Merry Christmas!

    8. I heard a long time ago that Keanu Reeves was going to play Spike in a live-action Cowboy Bebop movie. I hope he does well! I like to think the best of him (yay for being from Hawaii!), but I’m nervous…

    9. I love scraps and love to use them in projects. Makes you feel so good that you didn’t have to buy fabric this one time but were able to use what you have.

    10. So cute! I would love to use the scraps to try out one of your tutorials because I LOVE doing tutorials! Thanks for the giveaway!

    11. Oh, my goodness… what a lovely little pack… would love to win and to try my hand at this and use up some of my own stash pieces… thanks so much

    12. I am a new follower as of today. I love finding other Crafty Mummies in Australia to follow. I am in Newcastle NSW & I have a 16 month old daughter Amelia.
Love your onesie skirt tutorial. Definitely on my list for the new year to try.

    13. I collect all my scraps too, and you use them over and over in all sorts of projects, so this is a great giveaway, love it, thanks for the chance to win.

    14. Oh wow – what a fab giveaway. Thank you for the chance to win πŸ™‚

I absolutely love your scrap-busting tuts.

    15. Oh, I see that you have a tutorial on how to make little trees. Excellent! I cut a ton of green rectangles last year, then put them aside. I found them again this year, but didn’t remember where I had seen the trees.

And if I win, I will put all those little scraps to use in my hexagon quilt that I’ve been pecking away at for 2 years. It’s for my first grandchild. My daughters are 8 and 4, so I hope I will have enough time! Maybe if I finish early it will be a wedding present, but I don’t care to push myself too hard!

    16. I love scraps, I’ve already made 3 scraps quilts and have 4 more on the go using different types, strings, triangles, hexies and tiny fragments.

    17. Merry Christmas darling! I just finished making a scrap buster rug and I’m running low on my supply. Would be great to top the pile up. πŸ™‚

    18. So fun. I love scraps too and I like what you said about going on and on. I like to have fabric turn up again and again too. Thanks for the giveaway.

    19. I have been having a great time with this giveaway. However I think I needed to be more organised. I have been jumping from place to place and following links and I have no idea what I have left comments for and what I have just looked at. Guess I should have just followed along in order. I really like your prize offering thanks for the chance to win

    20. I think I have left a comment on your blog in the last month, I have been following your blog since the scrappy swap, I am sure I must have commented on something lovely you have made!

    21. Thanks for your generous giveaway. I love scraps, and if I win, these will be extra special– they’re lucky scraps! akmajor (at) gmail (dot) com

    22. Oh, the fabric and the pouch are great! I haven’t been sewing long, so I know the lines, but haven’t sewn with them. Thank you so much for sharing!
