My Creative Space…

I’m a bit late to the party today – it’s been one of those full on days… but better late than never right 🙂

This week my creative space has gone all pillow happy….

Log cabin option:

Quilted cushion cover 2

Simple stripe option:

Quilted cushion cover 1

Both options are offered in my classes. My attendees tonight nailed theirs! {I really should start getting photos one of these days!}

All fabric from these, with the exception of the backing fabric for the pink cushion came from the scrap bin. Score!
It never ceases to amaze me what the humble scrap can be turned into!

I’ve also been working on a few Christmas outfits…

Making some Christmas outfits...

This was the best photo I could get believe it or not – my model wasn’t so willing this time. She likes to turn all sulky and pouty for the camera…. goodness knows where she gets her modelling advice from – maybe she’s somehow snuck a loot at “America’s next top model” or something lol…

Next order of the day some more dresses & skirts/tops to sell. Although first I have to recover my confidence in using Miss Bernina – I think I got cocky. Perhaps I should try the rolled hem function instead – at least that can be reversed!! Note to self: must book in for classes asap.

More creative spaces here….

  1. I love love love both those cushions, especially the pink one! I recognise a few of those scraps 🙂 so pretty, you have insipred me to make some cushions for myself!
    Cute christmas outfits 🙂

  2. Gorgeous cushions Kat. I’m going to be making some new ones for my lounge next weekend (if the specialist fabric ever arrives)

    It’s tough being a catwalk model!
